Yes. We provide mobile estate planning notarizations at private residences, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other appropriate locations throughout New Jersey.
Can you provide witnesses for my Will?
Witness requirements depend on the specific document and circumstances. If your documents require witnesses, please let us know when scheduling so we can discuss witness availability and any additional fees.
Can a notary prepare or explain my Will or Trust?
No. A notary cannot draft, interpret, revise, or provide legal advice about estate planning documents. Your attorney or qualified estate planning professional should prepare the documents and answer legal questions.
What identification do I need?
Signers generally need a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID, such as a New Jersey driver's license, passport, or other acceptable identification.
What if the signer is elderly, ill, or in a hospital?
We are happy to travel to appropriate care settings. However, the signer must be willing and able to understand the document and communicate sufficiently for the notarization to proceed. A notary cannot proceed if the signer does not appear competent or willing to sign.
