Refund, Cancellation & Late Policy

At Ironclad Notary, we are committed to providing accurate, professional, and timely services. We understand that unexpected issues may arise, and we strive to handle them fairly. Please review our policies below:

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • The notarization or apostille was denied or rejected due to an error caused by us, and official proof of rejection (from the requesting institution, agency, or client) is provided. We will attempt to correct the issue free of charge, but you may request a refund instead.
  • An appointment is canceled with at least five (5) hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Cancellation or no-show with less than five (5) hours’ notice.
  • The notarization was denied due to client-side issues, including but not limited to:
    • Lack of valid identification
    • Unwillingness or inability to sign in person
    • Incomplete or incorrect documents
    • Signer is deemed not of sound mind or not aware of what they are signing
  • Travel and convenience fees are non-refundable once the notary is en route or has arrived at the appointment location.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Appointments canceled with at least five (5) hours’ notice may be refunded (excluding non-refundable travel or processing fees).
  • Cancellations made with less than five (5) hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of prepaid fees.
  • Clients may reschedule one time at no additional charge if at least five (5) hours’ notice is provided. Rescheduling is considered moving the appointment to another day.

Late Arrival Policy

To respect both client and notary schedules, the following late arrival policy applies:

  • If a client is up to 15 minutes late but provides prior notice, no additional fee will apply.
  • If a client is 15 minutes late without prior notice, a $25 late fee will be added to the total service charge.
  • If a client is 30 minutes late, with or without notice, a $25 late fee will be applied.
  • If a client is more than 45 minutes late, the appointment will be canceled and must be rescheduled. A new travel fee may apply.

How to Request a Refund

Please email your refund request to Support@ironcladmobilenotary.com with the following:

  • Client name and appointment date
  • Reason for refund
  • Supporting documentation (if applicable)

We aim to review and respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
