Effective Date: July 20th, 2026, 10:00pm EST.
At Ironclad Mobile Notary, we are committed to providing professional, reliable, and timely notary services. We understand that situations may change, and we have created the following policy to ensure a fair process for both our clients and our notary professionals.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available in the following situations:
- Service Error: If a notarization or apostille request is rejected due to an error made by Ironclad Mobile Notary, we will first attempt to correct the issue at no additional charge. If the issue cannot be resolved, a refund may be issued once official documentation of the rejection is provided.
- Timely Cancellation: Appointments canceled at least five (5) hours before the scheduled appointment time are eligible for a refund of prepaid service fees.
Partial Refunds
A partial refund may apply in situations where services were reserved, travel was committed, or the appointment could not be completed due to circumstances outside of Ironclad Mobile Notary's control.
-
Late Cancellation or No-Show: If an appointment is canceled with less than five (5) hours’ notice, or the client does not appear for the appointment:
- The notarization fee will be refunded.
- The appointment/reservation fee will not be refunded.
- Any travel fee already incurred may be retained to cover travel expenses.
-
Client-Related Issues: If the appointment cannot be completed due to client-related issues, the notarization fee may be refunded. This includes, but is not limited to:
- No valid identification provided
- Signer is unwilling or unable to sign
- Documents are incomplete, incorrect, or not ready for notarization
- Signer cannot demonstrate awareness or willingness to complete the signing
- Notary Arrival: Once the notary has begun travel to the appointment location or has arrived, travel and appointment fees are considered earned and are non-refundable. Any unused notarization fee may be refunded if the service cannot be completed.
Cancellations & Rescheduling

- Cancellations made with less than five (5) hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of appointment fee.

Appointments are scheduled based on travel time and availability. To respect both client and notary schedules, the following late arrival policy applies:
- Clients arriving up to 15 minutes late with prior notice will not be charged a late fee.
